Fuji
Medium to large sized apple. Yellowish green skin with a blush from orange to almost red, sometimes stripey. The white flesh is very juicy and has a fine texture. Its taste is slighty sweet-sour. Best eaten fresh or in salads.
Developed in Japan from Ralls Janet X Delicious and introduced in 1962. Not very famous in Europe.
