Red Seedless Grapes
Instead of a deep dark color, red grapes have a tendency towards a reddish blue. The most popular varieties include Crimson, Sunred and Flame. The first two are somewhat elongated in shape, while the latter is more globe shaped. Red seedless grapes have an impressive crisp texture. Their well balanced acid sugar content makes them a good thirst quencher.
The history of many seedless varieties is difficult to establish. They are most likely the result of many different varieties that easily cross-pollinate.
