White Seeded Grapes
There is a large variety of white seeded grapes, the most popular being Waltham Cross. Most of them have large, oval shaped berries with a golden tint. The bunches are also relatively large, but looser than their red counterparts. Waltham Cross are thin-skinned, sweet and extremely juicy, with an extraordinary flavour.
The first reference to Waltham Cross was in 1871 when Mr. William Paul, of Waltham Cross, England, received a certificate from the Royal Horticultural Society for this cultivar.
