Casa Hogar

The orphanage Casa Hogar Eugenio Díaz Barriga is located in the village of Tacambaro in the state of Michoacan, Mexico, a few hours drive from the city of Uruapan. On average it takes care of 40 children between the ages of 3 0 years of age. Many of them are indeed orphans, but some have been offered a place, because their parents are too poor to take care for their own children.

Living at the orphanage makes a big difference to the childrens lives. Instead of living in the streets, they have a home to go to where they have a safe place to sleep, enjoy regular meals and have an opportunity to attend school. Nature & More supports Casa Hogar Eugenio Díaz Barriga to carry out roof repairs, purchase clothing and equip the school with computers and educational materials.

In 2010 Nature & More has raised €3000 with their “One-Cent-for-the-Future-Campaign”. With your help – by purchasing our avocados with code 450 – we hope to raise even more in 2011.
