CO2 Emissions for transport and handling:
127,12 Gramm per kg of goods.
The calculation includes the CO2 emissions of transport by ship and truck as well as the handling of the product from the farm to the warehouse in Europe. We calculated from farm-gate to Central Europe.
Hass
Small to medium sized egg-shaped fruit weighing between 140 and 400 g. The skin is thick, rough, green and turns purple-black when ripe, separates easily from the flesh, and is leathery to woody in texture. Flesh is yellow and creamy, excellent quality with rich and nutty taste. Excellent keeper.
Hass is predominantly Guatemalan but with some Mexican genes.
It was selected by Mr. Rudolph Hass at La Glabra Heights, California in 1935. It is a heavy bearer.
