Solidarity
Together with our own products, we also sell fruit and vegetables from over 100 other local organic growers. Joint farm planning enables us to coordinate our output – in order to promote small rural businesses. Crops from organic growers in Mediterranean countries also contribute to a balanced range, especially in winter. At the same time, we ensure that these goods are fair trade and avoid as far as possible any goods that have been imported by air.

We even make use of throwouts. For example, we have a partnership with the Tierpark Schmiding, which collects and uses these fruit and vegetables as valuable food for its animals. We donate our dairy products or dry goods, which can no longer be sold by our fruit and vegetable store due to their short shelf life, to local low-income shops, where people on low incomes are able to purchase food at reasonable prices.
