All orchards of Agro Roca are organic, so certified free of GMO. Organic farming produces healthy plants without pesticide residues. The organic approach is also beneficial to natural biodiversity. Agro Roca has preserved a large area (about nine hectares) in its natural state, as a natural wildlife habitat near the Rio Negro. This area is home to a wide variety of plants. Bettina and Enrique also plant hedges and meadows between the orchards, which increase biodiversity.
