Instead of just creating an employment opportunity in the region, BioExotica has been aware of the need to improve the entire infrastructure to be successful in the long run. In this context, education plays a very important role. Thus it is not surprising that BioExotica built a primary school at the same time as it established the farm. It also equipped the school with desks, chairs, blackboards and all the material to have a well functioning school.

This initiative has proven to be very successful to demonstrate that change is possible, even in a very deprived region as Dasasi. It has inspired the people and authorities in the area to raise the financial resources themselves to build a secondary school. The humble beginnings of a school initiative have thus snowballed into a positive development whereby people take responsibility for their own action and invest in the education of their children.
