The workers body at Corsicana have decided that the money will be spent on a day care and computer centre. The Day Care centre will make things a lot easier for our employees many of whom are single parents.
Working hard
Solidarity is about looking after each others needs and fairly distributing income. Corsicana’s pineapples are certified as fair-trade. The Fair Trade certification also means that an extra premium is available for special projects selected by the Joint Body.a certain cause. Once sufficient funding (from the sales of Fair Trade, organic pineapples) is available, we will start construction.
