Soil Important practices used by Cultivos Orgánicos to maintain and improve the health of the soil include using special compost. Adolfo “We recently purchased our own compost turning machine which means we are now actively making our own compost. We are using clippings from the trees, cow manure, clay and guano to produce our compost. Guano is basically manure from the seabirds we have here in Peru. Guano has long been known to be a fantastic source of natural plant nutrition, offering a good mixture of elements for plant health, root development and enhanced flowering”.
