All orchards of Emerald Acres are organic, so certified free of GMO. Organic farming produces healthy plants without pesticide residues. The organic approach (no herbicides) is also beneficial to natural biodiversity. A large part of the 200 ha of grounds is wild or semi-wild and hosts a large variety of plants. The plants and trees in between the orchards help to increase biodiversity too. Recently Emerald Acres has also planted lemon scented tea trees (see picture!).
