Hi, my name is Ruud van Schie and this is my wife Annelies. We grow organic tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers for Nature & More in the Netherlands. Our healthy and tasty vegetables are sold all over Europe.

Our two greenhouses are situated in the north-east polder, next to the small village Ens. In 1997 we moved to Ens and started growing organic vine tomatoes and peppers. The main reason why we moved to the Northeast Polder was because the relatively virgin soil of the region is ideal for organic vegetable production. The quality of the soil is important for the taste of our tomatoes and other vegetables.

We are constantly looking for ways to improve our business and our sustainability. Together with the University of Wageningen we developed a new air management system which saves 20% of the energy.  Around our greenhouses we planted all kinds of trees, in close cooperation with the province of Flevoland, that attract birds, honey bees and other animals throughout the season.

Hello,
My name is Michel Charbel I'm a lebanese green guy aAnd I am starting a new green business here In Lebanon
I've started with 5 greenhouses(8*41,5m each) a1037 meter square in all.
This week i'm installing the greenhouses and fencing land,I was supposed to do that 3 months ago but things got delayed because of the flaws of the lebanese bureaucraty...

I'm doing a research on organic green farming in the netherlands and you guys seem to be one of the best,
I have 4 weeks or more offseason time and I wonder If I could visit the your farm and maybe work there for a 1 month or a bit more time, learn new ecofriendly techniques and tips and come back to lebanon with something fresh for my green business,
I have some friends in Holland who r willing to receive me in their house,
awaiting your answer and looking forward to meet you if all goes well :)

best regards,

Michel
