Hi, I’m Krispijn van den Dries, 27 years old, and I grow organic heirloom vegetables for Nature & More in the Netherlands, together with my father and a few other growers in this area. We specialize in colourful and rare varieties like purple and yellow carrots, purple sprouts, multi-colored beets, Jerusalem artichokes, mini-pumpkins and several other kinds of culinary varieties. Some of these vegetables used to be familiar to our great-grandparents, but are now forgotten. We want to make them unforgettable! 

Apart from the agriculture, my farm is also a social care farm. We work with people who have a intellectual or psychological challenge. The oldest is 72, the youngest 16. Our biodiverse, organic farm is very well fitted to give all these people a happier and more meaningful existence. We have two pigs, a farm shop, a flower garden, a little greenhouse; all these different functions of our farm help us to find a enjoyable job for each of our clients year round. You can really see that they are enjoying it.
