My name is Rene Beaujaneaut.

I am a fruit grower/exporter near Chillan in the 8th region of Chile.

I am a member of a grower group, which specializes in organic fruit.

We are six producers who joined forces 5 – 6 years ago in order to grow organic fruit for the export market.

This group consists of six people who are completely dedicated to organic agriculture.

One of the principle aspects on our farms is that we recycle all our green waste, such as prunings and transform it into compost.

We make our compost with all kinds of different materials which we have on the farm.

Thus all our members fertilize their farms with compost which has been made from natural materials.

Our region enjoys a wide variety of different flora and fauna and it is important to us to integrate the same into our cultivation practices.

It is important to point that the native trees and plants which can be found on our farms form an integral part of it and we co-exist with them.
