Nature and more strives to continually increase transparency, mutual awareness and shared responsibility of all stakeholders in the food supply chain with regards to food quality, ecology and social justice.

Ye Da Mo Ase

In the Ye Da Mo Ase campaign, Nature & More works together with growers to set up local small projects for social causes. All projects serve the causes of freedom, justice or solidarity. For each kilogram of product sold, 1 cent is set apart and goes to the project. So every time you buy the product, you contribute to the good cause. That's why the growers say "Thank you!" Or, in the Twi language from Ghana: "Ye Da Mo Ase". Here's a selection of ongoing projects:

Yassou!

My name is Gerasimos Karantinos and I’d like to thank you for purchasing my organic citrus! With every purchase you are making a direct contribution to improving the lives of young adults with special needs here in Greece. Greece’s recent economic woes have impacted every aspect of life. Funding and donations to many important social causes and programs have slowed considerably. The Halcyon Association of Parents & Friends of People with Disabilities is one such program. You are directly supporting this project, because for every kg of organic citrus  sold at least € 0,01 will go directly to Halycon. The funds will go to training Halcycon employees and volunteers so that they can help these young adults. The goal is to ultimately prepare and train these wonderful people, so that they are able to live with some level of independence.

Thanks for making a real difference in these people’s lives.

Efkharisto!

Project 2: Saving traditional music in Brasil

Project 2: Saving traditional music in Brasil

Olá!

My name is Pierre Landolt and on behalf of everyone here at Fazenda Tamanduá, I would like to say “obrigado” thank you for buying our organic and biodynamic
Brazilian mangoes. Not only have you chosen for a delicious mango that was grown in harmony with nature but you are also contributing directly to the local community. Let me explain ... Like in many other parts of the world, due to the influence of internet, radio and TV, Brazil is losing its traditional musical roots. We think this is a great shame and therefore regularly organize cultural events with local musicians (including our own “Trio Tamanduá”) where we celebrate our rich traditions. For every mango sold, a certain amount will go to help us preserve traditional local music such as “Forró”, “Maracatú”, “Ciranda” and “Xaxado”.

Therefore we say “obrigado” for your help!

Pierre

P.S. More information about our farm, the cultural activities and the local music can be found on my personal Nature and More webpage. Simply enter the code 388.
