Participate and win!

Nature & More sees everybody who eats organic products as a hero, cause they are helping to change the world step by step. We want to encourage this, and therefore came up with two campaigns where you can participate and win free organic products. In the Great Initiatives campaign you can win a huge amount of organic fruit for a good cause! In the "Give our fruit & veggies a face" online challenge you can win Weleda body care products and other prizes.

Great Initiatives: we reward your local engagement with organic fruits and/or vegetables!

Every month we will be giving away wonderful organic fruits and veggies to a “great initiative”. Maybe yours! All around the world Nature & More farmers are making a positive contribution to their local communities, like helping handicapped children, developing sports facilities, supporting cultural events, etc. Here in Europe many of you are also doing great things on a voluntary basis: raising funds for charities, painting the football clubhouse, visiting lonely elderly people – you probably have better examples! We at Nature & More think this is Great and therefore every month we will be giving away free organic fruits and vegetables to a selected upcoming project / event. All we ask in return is that you let us know how it all went and send us a few photographs. Submit your project by Facebook or Twitter or mail us directly: editor@natureandmore.com. #Fruitface: Give our fruit a face & we'll give your face a treat!

Nature & More wants to give organic fruits and vegetables a face, by telling the story of the grower. We now challenge you to give your favorite organic fruit or vegetable a face of your own! Every two months we post a new online challenge where we ask you to unleash your creativity and send us the result as a photo through Twitter, Facebook or e-mail. It's fun, easy and anyone can participate. Every contestant receives a Weleda “give your face a treat” package with seven luxurious face cream mini's; the winner of each edition gets a special prize!

 

 

An artwork of mother Nature

On Tuesday the 10th of January, Krispijn van den Dries, organic (Demeter) farmer in Emmeloord for Nature & More, did a remarkable find. In a large bin with harvested carrots, ready to be washed, he found a perfect plait of three carrots in three different colours, created by mother nature. It's a beautiful illustration of the unique qualities of biodynamic products.

Krispijn van den Dries grows biodynamic multi-coloured carrots, which are derived from heirloom varieties. "I sow the seeds in a mix of three colour varieties", explains Krispijn. "Sometimes you see two carrots growing interlaced. But three is very rare. And in three colours, so neatly braided - I have never seen that!"

People who want to see this little artwork by mother Nature, should come to the BioVak trade fair in Zwolle (Netherlands) on the 18th or 19th of January, to the Eosta stand. After that, Krispijn will put it into traditional Dutch hotch-potch. "Such beautiful food shouldn't be wasted!" says Krispijn.
