Ye Da Wo Ase Campaign Launched

by Michael Wilde last modified May 27, 2011 09:52 AM

Eosta recently launched the “Ye Da Wo Ase” campaign. Ye da wo Ase is “Twi”, a language spoken by the Akan communities in Ghana and means “thank you” and that is exactly the essence of the campaign.  Through attractive “handwritten” postcards and posters to be used as POS, Nature & More growers are saying thank you to consumers around Europe for choosing a specific Nature & More product.  The “Thank you” is also on behalf of the local community that benefits directly from the activities of the grower.  For example local school children in the village of Kudi in Ghana will be able to go to school in a modern building due to the fact that Bio Exotica is selling her pineapples on the European market.  Similarly, local communities in western Burkina Fasso will benefit from improved sanitation facilities, better equipped schools and hospitals thanks to the export of organic, fair-trade mangoes.  Another example are the handicapped children in the Rio Negro valley , who will now be able to receive equine therapy thanks to the commitment of organic apple growers Ernesto and Rudi Bartusch.  If you want to get involved and help pass on this positive message, please get in touch !
