Organic majhoul dates

Country

Morocco

Hi, we are Ali, Kemal and Jaafar, and together with our team we run Les Délices Majhoul, a family-owned organic date farm in Boudenib in eastern Morocco. Our mission is to bring the authentic taste of organic Majhoul dates — one of the world’s most prized date varieties — from the birthplace of the fruit to customers around the globe.

Roots in tradition and modern organic excellence

Les Délices Majhoul was founded with a vision to share the authentic flavour and quality of Majhoul dates, combining generations of agricultural expertise with modern organic farming techniques. Our farm spans around 200 hectares of fertile Moroccan soil, where more than 22,000 organic date palms are nurtured using 100% organic methods without synthetic fertilisers or pesticides.

Ideal climate, natural sweetness

Situated in the Tafilalet date valley, a historic region internationally recognised as the birthplace of the Medjool (Majhoul) date, our location provides ideal Mediterranean climate conditions — abundant sunshine, fertile soils and a long ripening season. Under these conditions, the dates develop a rich flavour, natural sweetness and soft texture that define their premium quality.

Quality at every step

At Les Délices Majhoul we prioritise quality over quantity. Trees are managed to produce stable yields — around 10–12 tonnes per hectare — and each date is picked by hand to ensure ripeness. At our packing facility, a smart AI-based sorting system evaluates size, colour and moisture to guarantee consistently high quality before packaging and export.

Sustainability and community

We place great emphasis on sustainable practices and community wellbeing. Organic cultivation supports soil health, biodiversity and responsible water use, including advanced drip irrigation and water-storage systems. Our operations also provide year-round employment for local workers, with social security and transport support during harvest seasons. The company is fully SMETA- and GRASP-compliant, reflecting our commitment to ethical labour standards.

A future-focused partnership

Les Délices Majhoul is more than a supplier — we are a partner in building a future where Moroccan organic Medjool dates are recognised globally for their premium quality and sustainable production. By focusing on craftsmanship, innovation and respect for our land and people, we aim to ensure this iconic fruit stands at the top of its category.
