Ingredients

  • 4–6 baby bok choy heads, halved lengthwise

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2–3 garlic cloves, minced

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Optional: sesame seeds or lemon zest

Method

  1. Preheat: Heat the oven to 200°C.

  2. Prep bok choy: Place halved bok choy on a baking sheet, cut side up.

  3. Season: Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with minced garlic, salt and pepper.

  4. Roast: Bake 15–20 minutes until the stems are tender and edges slightly charred.

  5. Finish & serve: Sprinkle with sesame seeds or lemon zest if you like, and serve warm.

Method
