Queen Máxima to pay working visit to Eosta

Her Majesty Queen Máxima will pay a working visit to Eosta in Waddinxveen, the Netherlands, on Tuesday 4 December 2018. Eosta won the Sustainability Prize (Plaquette voor Duurzaam Ondernemerschap) of the King William 1 Foundation (Koning Willem I Stichting). This award is a reward for companies who apply themselves to sustainable innovation. Queen Máxima is the honorary chair of the King William I Foundation.

During her visit to Eosta, Queen Máxima will be given a tour of the company. She will also attend a debate with speakers from the financial sector, business sector and food industry about the value-driven economy and its support by financial markets.

The King William I Foundation was founded in 1958 by the Dutch National Bank (De Nederlandsche Bank) and a number of business organizations. The aim of the foundation is to give new impetus to the Dutch economy and raise the profile of the Dutch business community. The foundation is supported by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment.
