Buy Eddie’s grapes and save € 1,772 in CO2-emissions!

"Every time you spend money, you are casting a vote for the kind of world you want", said American food writer Anna Lappé. This is specifically true for food. Your daily shopping has a real impact on the climate, biodiversity, social coherence, water, soil and health.

For example, if you buy Nature & More organic grapes, grown by South-African grower Eddie Redelinghuys, we have calculated that you are saving society € 1,772 euro on climate costs, per hectare per year! The reason is that in organic grape cultivation, Eddie uses no fossil fuel based fertilizers, no pesticides, and instead works with compost, soil biodiversity and green cover of the soil. In this way he sequestres more carbon than conventional growers.

Eddie has a professional composting plant; good composting mitigates climate change by seqestring soil carbon!

At Nature & More, we offer you transparency and full insight into what you are buying, and we even tell you the monetary value of the hidden impacts of production, for a growing number of products. Through this website you can meet all our farmers and check their personal "sustainability flower", which contains all the information. Simply enter the three-digit grower code on the homepage or look around!
